Sarsilmaz SAR 9 RD Black – 9mm

The Sarsilmaz SAR 9 RD Black takes the proven SAR 9 platform and adds a factory optics-ready configuration, giving you a full-size 9mm that’s ready for a micro red-dot out of the box.

This model uses a striker-fired action with a consistent trigger pull and short, tactile reset to support fast follow-up shots. The polymer frame keeps weight down while maintaining durability, and the grip is shaped with aggressive texturing and interchangeable backstraps so you can tune it to your hand size and preferred feel.

The “RD” (Red Dot) configuration features a milled slide with a removable cover plate, allowing you to mount a suitable micro red-dot sight (optic not included). Steel or high-visibility sights (variant dependent) provide a clear picture if you prefer irons or want co-witness options with your optic.

In its standard 9mm setup, the SAR 9 RD Black is typically supplied with:

• 2 × 17-round double-stack magazines

This gives you 17+1 rounds on tap with each mag, making it well-suited to home defence, range work and club shooting.

Front and rear slide serrations give you good purchase for racking the slide and doing press checks, even with damp or gloved hands. An integrated accessory rail on the dust cover allows you to mount a weapon light or laser – an important addition if you intend to use the pistol for low-light home defence.

The ergonomics are very much in line with modern service pistols, with a pronounced beavertail and undercut trigger guard that allow a higher grip and better recoil control. The overall size and weight lend themselves to softer perceived recoil and strong shootability.
